This year marks twenty years since my wife, Charmee and I bought Andrews Candy Company from my parents, and moved it to a new, larger facility and how we have grown since then! Many changes have happened over the course of those twenty years, both with our company and our family. One thing that hasn't changed and won't change is the quality of our products and the fact they are handmade.
This past year, many of you had heard several rumors that we were going out of business, we were planning on selling to a larger corporation or that we were moving. To set the record straight, we are moving, but we aren't selling out to another company nor are we going out of business. Our company is and always will remain a family run operation.
New opportunites have presented themselves which helped our decision to move. Charmee and I have found a new place to call home, 9000 feet up, in Divide, Colorado. Andrews Candy Company will also have a new home in Colorado, although, at this time I can't give specific details as to where and when. As time permits we will keep you updated.
We will continue to make all of our wonderful products you have grown to love over the years. For some of you not alot will change in regards to ordering our products. For those of you that live in Arkadelphia and the surrounding areas in Arkansas as well as our customers that visit us along the way on I-30, you'll shop at our online candy store(it soon will offer more of our products in addition to our gourmet brittles) and have it shipped to you. Kansas City customers will continue to shop at our store located in the Country Club Plaza.
In the next several months you will begin to see some differences in our company. We will do our very best to make this transition from Arkansas to Colorado as smooth as possible, where there will not be any interruptions in your ability to place orders. For now, it will be business as usual and as changes happen we will keep you updated via our website, Facebook and postcards mailed to you.
